Running a new validation study with Biobanco La Fe

This December, we installed our DNA stabilization solution at Biobanco La Fe, where lyophilized DNA samples will be used for long‑read DNA studies using Optical Genome Mapping technology.

Hospital La Fe has recently implemented OGM technology, a cutting-edge tool that enables the detection of complex structural variants with unprecedented precision. This technology is improving the diagnosis and prognosis of patients who require high-resolution genomic analysis, marking a turning point in structural DNA analysis for research, diagnostics and precision medicine.

Study Objective:

To evaluate the quality and integrity of lyophilized DNA samples stored at room temperature for use in Optical Genome Mapping studies, demonstrating the compatibility of our stabilization technology with advanced genomic analysis techniques.

This collaboration represents an important validation of how room temperature stabilization can support state-of-the-art genomic technologies, maintaining DNA integrity for the most demanding applications in precision medicine.

We look forward to sharing the results of this important validation study!

300K Solutions will be present at EHA2026

Blood-derived sample stabilization is a critical need in hematology and biomarker research. Current preservative-based solutions provide stability for only a few days, while longer storage often requires freezing—an approach that is not always feasible.
300K Solutions leverages freeze-drying technology to extend stability from days to months in blood cells and plasma/serum. This approach preserves sample integrity from collection to analysis, minimizing biomarker degradation and eliminating the need for refrigerated logistics.
